The marketing campaign was to restore the identity and grandeur of Victory Drive in Savannah, Georgia. The concept for the branding relates to the commemoration of veterans that have served in the military. The palm trees seen all along Victory Drive were planted to honor the soldiers that fought from the city of Savannah- the logo is an homage to those veterans with the use of a medallion.
The visual design for Victory Drive uses a pale, neutral grey-green color that relates to the military and to the landscape. Within the medallion is also a large ‘V’ for Victory. The campaign logo uses simple geometric shapes and a clear, concise design to show the historic and beautiful nature of the drive itself, while maintaining readability and legibility in signage and printed material.
